Charles E. Hostetter
("Gene") has been an attorney in private practice since 1976. He began his practice in Brownsburg, Indiana then, and has been in the same community since. His practice areas include probate and estate planning, family law, school law, and business matters. He presently serves as the Brownsburg Town Court Judge. His clients represented include family corporations and limited liability companies, a school corporation, two fire districts, local businesses and non-profit entities, and numerous individuals in the community and the county. He also previously served as attorney for the County Division of Family and Children for many years.

Gene was born October 6, 1946. He is married, has four grown children, and is a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army.

He attended Northwestern University and Indiana University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis.

Matthew E. Dumas
("Matt") has been practicing law in Indiana since 2004. From 2004 to 2008 Matt practiced with civil litigation firms in downtown Indianapolis. From 2008 to 2010 Matt was an enforcement attorney with the Indiana Securities Division giving Matt valuable experience into securities litigation. Matt's practice focuses on civil litigation including personal injury on behalf of injured individuals, bad faith and coverage cases against insurance carriers, securities arbitrations on behalf of customers, representing construction contractors and homeowners in disputes, general civil litigation, and general domestic litigation including divorces, child support, custody, and paternity matters.

Matt received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing from Depauw University. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law.

John has represented businesses and individuals for over 25 years in complex litigation matters, and business and commercial litigation, including fraud, shareholder and member disputes, breach of contract, creditor’s rights and bankruptcy litigation, non-compete and employment law litigation, construction litigation, class action matters, and mass tort and toxic tort litigation., and other personal injury matters.

John spent 19 years with one of the largest firms in Indiana, serving on its management committee for four years. John has represented businesses of all sizes, from Fortune 500 companies to single member entities. A sampling of John’s experience includes representing businesses in cases claiming actuarial malpractice and seeking a high eight-figure recovery; obtaining judgments of non-dischargeability against Debtors in bankruptcy leading to a six figure recovery; representing both creditors and debtors and affiliated companies in fraudulent transfer, preference, and turnover actions in bankruptcy court; representing a Debtor company in seeking to enforce a bid award for the Debtor leading to a seven figure contract for the Debtor; representing construction and architect/engineer companies in cases litigating construction defects, delay damages and breach of contract; defending a company in a WARN act class action case; other class action cases litigating mold claims, contract claims, fraud claims and other; representing and counseling both businesses and individuals in the area of non-competes, wage claims and breach of employment agreements; and representing businesses in litigating disputes over easements, as well as individuals in personal injury matters.

John resides in Avon with his wife Pam and 4 children, where he is a member of the Avon School Board, and on the leadership committee for Scout Pack 300.

John received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1985 and his law degree from the Indiana University –Bloomington Maurer School of Law in 1989, graduating with Honors.

John is admitted to practice in Indiana, and the courts of the Northern and Southern District of Indiana, and the Seventh Circuit.
